She studied Medicine in Utrecht and worked as MD at departments of surgery, internal medicine, intensive care and burn centre. In 1998 she completed the postgraduate GP training in Utrecht. Afterwards, she combined her work as GP with a staff member ship at the postgraduate GP training in Utrecht. In 2008 she was appointed as manager Research and Development. In 2012 she obtained her Master of Science degree in Clinical Epidemiology at Utrecht University. Interests and Focus
Her area of interest lies in medical education research. Her focus is performance of trainees and selection into the postgraduate training. She is partly seconded to the national postgraduate GP training (Huisartsopleiding Nederland, HON) on behalf of the national selection procedure and member of the national assessment group of HON.
