Interests and Focus
Femke Kaasenbrood studied medicine at the University of Maastricht and graduated as a MD in 2013. Afterwards she worked as a resident at the emergency room in St. Antonius hospital in Utrecht. She started her vocational training in General Practice in 2014 at the Department of General Practice of the University Utrecht. She combines her training with a PhD program on screening for atrial fibrillation in primary care using a single lead ECG device. This project is supervised by Prof. Dr. A.W. Hoes, with Dr. F.H. Rutten and Dr. M. Hollander as daily supervisors.
