Linda Vissers (1990) studied medicine at the University of Utrecht and graduated in 2015. She gained an interest in research during her studies and has been working in the field of nutrition and cardiovascular disease epidemiology as a research student since 2011. After obtaining her degree in medicine, she worked as a medical doctor in the internal medicine ward in the Diakonessenhuis in Utrecht.
In April 2016 she started her PhD project under the supervision of Ivonne Sluijs and Yvonne van der Schouw on the subject of dairy derived saturated fatty acids and risk of cardiovascular diseases. She combines these research activities with the post-graduate master epidemiology.
