Suzanne Marchal (1987) studied medicine at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and graduated in 2012. Afterwards she worked as a resident at the Intensive Care (University Medical Center Groningen), the Emergency Room (Tjongerschans hospital Heerenveen) and at the department of Neurology (Martini hospital Groningen). In March 2016 she started as a PhD student at the Julius Center. The focus of her PhD-project is 'the effect of integrated care for cardiovascular riskmanagement' and will be conducted in the region of Zwolle (ZWOT-CASE study). She will be supervised by Prof. Dr. A.W. Hoes and Dr. M. Hollander (both from the Julius Center) and Dr. A.W.J. van 't Hof (from Isala hospital Zwolle). She combines her PhD-project with the vocational training in General Practice and the postgraduate Master Epidemiology.
