Huong Ly Le (1985) studied medicine at the Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam, and graduated as a general practitioner in 2009. She studied and worked as a pediatrician for 5 years in the National Hospital of Pediatrics in Vietnam. During these years, she also worked for the Research Institute of the hospital and conducted some epidemiological researches. To be competent for data analysis, she decided to take the Master of Statistics program in Hasselt University, Belgium. After graduation with great distinction, she started as a junior researcher in THUS-IPD project the Julius Center Utrecht in December 2016.
Interests and Focus
Project: Promoting tailored healthcare: improving methods to investigate subgroup effects in treatment response when having multiple individual participant datasets. J.B. Reitsma is the main applicant of the project and employer.
I am interested in empirical data analysis, derive proper and valid statistical results for impacting clinical decision making and public health policy making. Favorite topics are multiple regression, prediction models, subgroup analysis.
