Biographical Sketch
Tess Verschuuren (1990) obtained her medical degree at the University of Utrecht in 2016. In January 2017, she started working as a research physician at the Infectious Disease and Epidemiology department of the Julius Center Utrecht, under supervision of prof. dr. Marc Bonten.
She is currently engaged in a project on prosthesis related infections due to amoxicillin-resistant
Enterococcus faecium
. As well as a project on the
collateral benefits of infection prevention measures for vancomycin-resistant
Enterococcus faecium
outbreaks.
