Julius General Practitioners Network
On January 1, 2011, the Utrecht Health Project (Leidsche Rijn Gezondheidsproject LRGP) and the Utrecht General Practitioners Network (Huisartsen Netwerk Utrecht, HNU) merged together to form the newly developed Julius General Practitioners Network (Julius Huisartsen Netwerk, JHN).
This network is based on a data warehouse containing routine healthcare data, anonymously extracted from many primary care settings in the Utrecht area. The JJulius General Practitioners Network serves as a database source for primary care based research, for quality management projects and healthcare innovation projects with cooperating General Practitioners (GPs) and to facilitate the production of management reports on quality indicators in chronic disease management.
The GPs that deliver their data gather on a regular basis in CME programs organized by the Julius Center and most of them are involved in one way or another in teaching Bachelor and Master students or in vocational training of GPs. To participate as a GP in the Julius Primary Care Network, or to use data, please contact the Secretariaat JHN.
The department of General Practice of the Julius Center cooperates with Julius Clinical in the Julius Primary Care Research Network, which enables patient recruitment for research purposes within Primary Care Network practices that want to participate in clinical trials on a professional basis.
If you are living in the Utrecht area and you want to know more about our research in Leidsche Rijn or elsewhere, please read more...
