Josan Yauw (Wijchen, 1990) obtained her BSc degree in Bèta-gamma at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) with a major in Biology. She continued her studies with the MSc Life Sciences: Bioinformatics and Systems Biology at the UvA.
In March 2016 she started as a PhD student at the Julius Center of the UMC Utrecht. The title of the PhD project is "Dynamic prediction models for personalised risk estimation in patients with type 2 diabetes", and part of the DIAMANT study. Josan will combine her PhD project with the Postgraduate Master of Epidemiology.
