Carla Jonker studied Biomedical Sciences at the University of Leiden.
Since 2004 she is working at the Medicine Evaluation Board, her current function is Senior Regulatory Project Leader. In 2014 she started her PhD at the Julius Center.This thesis will focus on Registries in Regulatory Sciences, current use in applications for treatment of hemophilia.
Data collected within registries should lead to more knowledge about efficacy and/or safety of products in daily practice and should learn what is needed to provide industry with optimal advice during drug development. It will build on growing knowledge of the Medicine Evaluation Board to review and decide on proposals in the scope of Risk Management Plans.
The promotor is Professor Arno Hoes, UMC Utrecht Julius Center, the co-promotors are Dr. Marijke v.d. Berg, UMC Utrecht Julius Center and Dr. Peter Mol, Medicine Evaluation Board.
