Anne-Karien de Waard (Leiden 1990) studied medicine in Utrecht from 2008-2014. During her study she also participated in the Honours Program (Bachelor). After her graduation she worked as a doctor at the neurology department (Diakonessenhuis, Utrecht). On the first of july 2015 she started her PhD project at the SPIMEU project.
In this project the determinants of succesful implementation of selective prevention of cardio-metabolic diseases across Europe will be investigated and summarized in a 'toolbox'. More information about this project can be found on www.spimeu.org
